I’m Trying to Rebuild My Life, One Small Step at a Time
My name is Albina. I never thought I would find myself writing something like this or asking strangers for help. For more than two years, I have been earning my living by selling goods online. I built this work step by step with my own money, time, and effort. It became my main source of income and allowed me to support myself independently. Then several difficult things happened one after another. Someone I trusted told me he urgently needed financial help. I believed him and lent him a significant part of my savings, expecting the money to be returned. It wasn’t. I tried not to give up. I continued working and hoped I could gradually recover the loss myself. But then I suffered another major financial setback when part of the inventory I depended on for my income was lost following serious warehouse incidents. With less inventory available to sell, my income dropped significantly, while my existing financial obligations remained. At the same time, my family has been going through an extremely difficult period. My brother went missing, and we have been living with the uncertainty of not knowing what happened to him. During this already devastating period, my father suffered a stroke. I don’t want to make my family’s pain the focus of this appeal. I mention it because all of these things happened during the same difficult period, and emotionally and financially it became more than I was prepared to handle at once. I am still working and doing everything I can to solve these problems myself. I am negotiating with banks regarding my existing financial obligations and taking legal steps to recover the money that was not returned to me. But these processes take time, while everyday expenses and the costs of keeping my work going cannot simply be put on hold. What I need right now is some breathing room — enough to replenish essential inventory, start working with new suppliers, and gradually rebuild my source of income. Asking strangers to simply give me money is very difficult for me. I would feel much more comfortable giving something back. So I created an English All-in-One Life Planner for Excel and decided to offer it for $5. It is a complete Excel planner for organizing income and expenses, bills, subscriptions, debts, savings goals, purchases, documents, home and car information, and important dates. For $5, you receive my planner — and I receive a little help toward rebuilding my ability to support myself. You can think of it as a small purchase that also helps someone through a very difficult period. I am not asking anyone to pay my debts or solve all of these problems for me. I am continuing to deal with the banks, pursue the money owed to me, and work through everything else myself. I am simply asking for a little breathing room while I continue trying to rebuild. If you cannot purchase the planner, sharing this page with someone who might find it useful can help too. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Get the planner & support me:
