Please Help Me Get to Work and Stay Afloat
I am reaching out for help during a very difficult time in my life. I recently secured a county government internship in Kenya, and I am doing my best to build a better future for myself. Unfortunately, the internship stipend has been delayed until December, and I am struggling to afford basic necessities while waiting. My transport costs are approximately KSh 1,000 per week, and I am also struggling with rent and other essential expenses. I have tried to find ways to manage, but I have run out of options. I am afraid of losing this opportunity simply because I cannot afford to get to work. I am asking for help raising US$65 (approximately KSh 8,000) to help me cover transport and essential expenses during this difficult period. I know that not everyone can afford to give much, but every contribution matters. Even $1 or $2 could make a difference when many people come together. If you cannot contribute financially, sharing my appeal would mean a lot to me. It is not easy to ask strangers for help, but I am trying to hold on to this opportunity and keep moving forward.
