Some weeks it feels like none of this matters. That feeling is rational; it is a system working exactly as intended. This week’s mutual aid roundup listed twelve requests and eleven Palestinian campaigns that need movement. Just like me, they need help. I’m unsure if I have any reasons or justifications other than I just felt like doing it, I just felt like listing them all. Maybe because they’re there, maybe because some weeks are harder than the rest, maybe because I can and don’t need any reason or justification to do something, or maybe because this is the only thing I can give them. We help not because we can, or because we want to, but because we must. If you can’t or won’t help me, then help them. Support them within your capacity in the way that matters—materially, socially, however you can.

They found my profile, saw the survival request, and decided that settled it. The visible need was always the weapon. Below are people whose visible need I am asking you to meet, or carry further than my feed can reach.
