"I hate asking for this" in a mutual aid request is… Idk what to call that. Please don't say that. You're allowed to ask for help. You deserve help without any requirements. Capitalism makes you believe that your basic necessities to survive and dignity are mutually exclusive. Capitalism makes you believe that nobody is going to save you. If you're already in this space where strangers help each other, where strangers are consciously asking for help from other strangers, that shame has no reason to follow you in. What are we doing, if not proving that lie wrong?
